Through your pregnancy, and back to yourself.

Being pregnant is intense. Reformer pilates gives your body the movement it needs, and gives you a way to stay present with what is happening.

Book your first session

Guided by someone who has done it herself.

Tessa is a mum herself. What she brings comes not only from her training, but also from experience — she knows how it feels, and what does and does not work then.

During pregnancy

Keep moving in a way that fits what is changing. The reformer lets you adjust the resistance as the months go on, so you stay active without forcing anything. And it gives you a moment with yourself, instead of just pushing through.

After birth

Building back up gently, at your own pace. We do not start where you left off but where you are now, and work from there back towards strength and form.

Guided up close.

Every month something changes in how you move. Your centre of gravity shifts, your pelvis carries differently, and exercises that felt fine last time suddenly no longer fit.

So I watch while you move, correct where it’s needed, and we adapt the exercise to the stage you are in. Not according to a fixed schedule, but according to what your body can handle that day.

What a programme involves.

Guidance that moves with the stage you are in, from the first months to well after birth.

A talk beforehand

We talk about the stage you are in and what to watch out for. If there is any doubt, we check with your doctor or midwife.

Moving with each trimester

What feels good in the fourth month no longer fits in the eighth. The sessions change along with your body.

Room after birth

You come back when you are ready, not according to a schedule. We resume gently and build from there.

Someone who understands

Questions about tiredness, doubt, or how it feels not to recognise your own body: there is room for them. Tessa has had them herself.

Choose the length that suits you.

A pregnancy and the recovery afterwards cover a long stretch of time together. How long you want guidance is up to you.

Anchoring what you build

The time your body needs to hold on to change. We build up, adjust and deepen what is there.

Visible build-up in strength, balance, sleep and energy.

From pregnancy through recovery

Guidance that goes with you through a stage that is itself changing. For anyone who would rather not go through it alone.

Lasting change, with room for whatever comes up along the way.

We put a programme together with you. The session rates are the basis: €70 private, €50 per person in duo, with a bundle discount from 5 sessions. What your programme costs exactly, we talk through at the start.

Frequently asked questions.

When can I start?+
That differs from pregnancy to pregnancy and from person to person. Talk it over with your doctor or midwife — they know your situation. Once you have the go-ahead, we look together at what suits the stage you are in.
How soon after birth can I start again?+
That also depends on your recovery and on how the birth went. Ask your doctor, or at your postnatal check-up. There is no hurry: we start when you are ready.
I have never done pilates. Is this still something for me?+
Yes. We start where you are. The reformer works with adjustable resistance, so the machine adapts to you. Many women start here without any experience.
Can I do this together with someone?+
Yes, and that is often overlooked. A pregnancy programme works just as well in duo, with a friend, sister or partner. You then pay 50 euros per person instead of 70, and with a bundle that drops further to 46. So guidance during pregnancy is not only possible as a private session.

Maybe also something for you.

Tell us where you are in your pregnancy or your recovery, and we will look together at what fits. From one mum to another, if you find that helpful.
